Disney Pixar releases first trailer for ‘The Good Dinosaur’ – watch

John Lithgow, Frances McDormand, Neil Patrick Harris and Judy Greer lead the voice cast

Disney Pixar has released the first trailer for the studio’s 16th computer-animated movie The Good Dinosaur.

The Good Dinosaur is the first feature-length animation directed by longtime Pixar animator and storyboard artist Peter Sohn. Its voice cast is led by John Lithgow, Frances McDormand, Neil Patrick Harris, Judy Greer, Lucas Neff and Bill Hader.

The official plot synopsis teases: “The Good Dinosaur asks the question: What if the asteroid that forever changed life on Earth missed the planet completely and giant dinosaurs never became extinct? Pixar Animation Studios takes you on an epic journey into the world of dinosaurs where an Apatosaurus named Arlo makes an unlikely human friend. While traveling through a harsh and mysterious landscape, Arlo learns the power of confronting his fears and discovers what he is truly capable of.”

The Good Dinosaur opens in cinemas on November 25. It will preceded by the 15th Disney Pixar film, Inside Out, which is released in the US on June 19 and the UK on July 24. Watch the latest teaser clip for the film, whose voice cast includes Amy Poehler and Mindy Kaling, here.
