The third official trailer for the March release is here
The third trailer for Disney animated movie ‘Zootropolis’ was unveiled yesterday (December 31).
The movie is about a world in which humans don’t exist, and animals live together in industrialised, harmonious cities in which normal animal behaviour is described as “going savage”. It centres on the story of a rabbit who becomes the first rabbit police officer, and is challenged to solve a case.
The main characters will be voiced by Ginnifer Goodwin (police rabbit Judy Hopps) and Jason Bateman (fox Nick Wilde). Idris Elba and Shakira will also feature. The movie will be launched in 3D on March 25 (March 4 in the US, where the movie will be known as Zootopia).

Zootropolis will be joined by November release Moana, marking the first time since 2002 that Disney have released two animated feature films in the same year. Moana is set in Oceania, and sees the title character – a young girl – search for a fabled island alongside demi-God Maui, voiced by Dwayne Johnson (The Rock).
Zootropolis will be the 55th Disney feature movie, and is inspired to some extent by the animal characters in Robin Hood. Original music will be contributed by Sia and Shakira, with the latter also playing the role of a pop star in the film. The ‘Department of Mammal Vehicles’ will parody the ‘Department of Motor Vehicles’, and be run entirely by sloths.
