‘Django Unchained’ stars Leonardo DiCaprio and Jamie Foxx to reunite for new crime movie

They'll play disgraced detectives in 'Mean Business On North Ganson Street'

Leonardo DiCaprio and Jamie Foxx are to team up again for a new crime movie.

The actors, who recently appeared together in Quentin Tarantino’s Django Unchained, have signed up to star in the film adaptation of an upcoming crime novel called Mean Business On North Ganson Street by S Craig Zahler.

DiCaprio will play a disgraced detective, Deadline reports, who gets sent to a “hellhole” town in Missouri where violent crime is on the rise. There, he’s partnered with another detective with a tarnished reputation, Foxx’s character, and the pair begin a crackdown.

Zahler will write the script from his own novel, which is currently looking for a publisher. As well as starring, DiCaprio will serve as a producer.

Meanwhile, Foxx will next be seen as a besieged President of the United States in action thriller White House Down, which opens in UK cinemas on September 6. DiCaprio has recently reunited with Martin Scorsese for The Wolf Of Wall Street, a biopic of notorious fraudulent New York stockbroker Jordan Belfort.
