The nominations for the 2019 Golden Raspberry Awards are in – and there’s two nods for the Commander in Chief himself.
The President received two nominations for his appearances in documentaries over the past year, namely Michael Moore’s Fahrenheit 11/9 and Dinesh D’Souza’s Death of a Nation.
First off, he faces competition in the Best Actor category against the likes of John Travolta (Gotti), Johnny Depp (Sherlock Gnomes), Will Ferrell (Holmes & Watson) and Bruce Willis (Death Wish).
He’ll also do battle in the Worst Screen Combo category, where he’s brilliantly paired with his own “self-perpetuating pettiness.”
The award ceremony is designed to celebrate some of Hollywood’s worst offerings in the past year and has been going strong since it began back in 1981.
Other notable nominees this year include The Happytime Murders, Robin Hood, and horror movie Winchester .
If Trump triumphs, it won’t be his first Razzie win – having previously triumphed in the Worst Supporting Actor category for his appearance in 1991’s Ghosts Can’t Do It.
He’s also joined in the nominations by wife Melania Trump, who faces a Worst Supporting Actress nod for her cameo in Fahrenheit 11/9.
The Razzie Awards for 2019 will take on February 23.
