Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson and Kevin Hart in talks for ‘Jumanji’ reboot

Central Intelligence’s stars could be starring in the remake of the Robin Williams classic

Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart could be set to star in the reboot of 1995 family classic Jumanji.

Sex Tape and Bad Teacher director Jake Kasdan is on board to create a new take on Chris Van Allsburg’s Caldecott-winning children’s book, which tells the story of children faced with perils from the jungle after playing a mysterious board game.

The movie was already brought to the big screen back in 1995 with the late Robin Williams and a young Kirsten Dunst.

Entertainment Weekly confirmed the news that both Johnson and Hart – who hosted the MTV Movie Awards and star alongside each other in action-comedy film, Central Intelligence – are in talks to join the production.

However both actors have several projects in the work, including Fast 8 for Johnson, the sequel to last year’s hugely successful Furious 7.
