It bodes well for his upcoming role in the 'Baywatch' movie
Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has revealed that he saved his pet baby French bulldog from drowning yesterday.
The wrestler-turned-actor, recently seen in Fast & Furious 7 and San Andreas, shared his tale of real-life heroics on Instagram, explaining that he dived into his swimming pool fully-clothed after one of his two baby French bulldogs, Brutus, fell in and struggled to doggy-paddle.
Brutus suffered no long-term effects from his fall, but Johnson admitted that he made a basic error before leaping into the swimming pool, telling fans who find themselves in a similar situation: “While spiriting to save your puppies life, before you dive in, try and throw your cel phone to safety. Don’t keep it in your pocket… like I did.”

Johnson’s underwater rescue bodes well for one of his upcoming film roles. The actor is attached to star in a big screen version of Baywatch, with Zac Efron poised to join him in the franchise’s iconic red Speedos.
