The final film of the Wolverine X-Men trilogy will also see Hugh Jackman playing a much older version of his character, suffering from drinking issues and diminished powers.
Speaking about the film, Jackman said: “Basically, it’s going to be different. Very different in tone and hopefully to anything we’ve done”. Mangold has also added: “If you’re on the make for a hyper-choreographed, gravity defying, city-block destroying CG f**kathon, this ain’t your movie.

Logan is expected to be based on the Wolverine comic book storyline ‘Old Man Logan’, which is set in an alternate dystopian universe and is much darker in tone.
The Logan cast also includes Eriq La Salle, Elise Neal and Elizabeth Rodriguez. The new film will mark the ninth and final time that Hugh Jackman has played the character on the big screen.
