Ralph Fiennes stars and Bill Murray, Tilda Swinton and Jude Law appear in supporting roles
The first trailer for Wes Anderson‘s new film The Grand Budapest Hotel has been released. Watch it below.
The typically quirky-looking film stars Ralph Fiennes as a charismatic hotel concierge who forges a friendship with an enthusiastic trainee lobby boy, played by up-and-coming actor Tony Revolori. The trailer suggests that the film’s plot will be driven by the death of a distingiuished hotel guest played by recent David Bowie collaboraror Tilda Swinton.
As ever, Anderson has attracted an impressive supporting cast, which this time includes Bill Murray, Jude Law, Adrien Brody, Edward Norton, Jason Schwartzman, Owen Wilson, Saoirse Ronan and Jeff Goldblum. Keep an eye out for many of them in the trailer.
Anderson shot the film in and around Berlin, Germany earlier this year (2013). The Grand Budapest Hotel opens in US cinemas on March 7, 2014 though its UK release date has yet to be confirmed. Anderson’s next most recent film Moonrise Kingdom came out in May 2012.
