First ‘X-Men: Days Of Future Past’ posters unveiled

Posters show the changing faces of Magneto and Professor X

The first posters for X-Men: Days Of Future Past have been unveiled via Entertainment Weekly.

The new X-Men movie uses time travel as a major plot device. Ian McKellen and Patrick Stewart appear as older versions of Magneto and Professor X, while Michael Fassbender and James McAvoy play their younger selves, and the posters riff on this cleverly.

Singer began filming X-Men: Days Of Future Past in Montreal, Canada back in April and the shoot is set to last until at least September. Some of the action takes place in 1973, Singer has revealed, and former US President Richard Nixon will be a character in the film.

X-Men: Days Of Future Past will open in cinemas on July 18, 2014.
