Trailer for the dinosaur sequel arrives online several days earlier than originally expected
The full-length trailer for Jurassic World has been released – several days earlier than originally expected.
The full-length trailer had been expected to arrive on Friday (November 28) following a teaser clip shared over the weekend. Promotion for the eagerly-anticipated dinosaur sequel is now stepping up with the launch of a viral website last week as well.
Jurassic World is set to open in cinemas on June 12, 2015. It will arrive nearly 14 years after the last instalment in the series, 2001’s Jurassic Park III.
Parks And Recreation/Guardians Of The Galaxy star Chris Pratt heads up the film’s cast, flanked by actors including Bryce Dallas Howard, Omar Sy, Ty Simpkins and Judy Greer.
Colin Trevorrow is directing from a script he has co-written, and Steven Spielberg – who directed the first two films in the franchise – is on board as an executive producer. Earlier this year Trevorrow teased the possibility of sequels to Jurassic World, saying: “We wanted to create something that would be a little bit less arbitrary and episodic, and something that could potentially arc into a series that would feel like a complete story.”
