Hannibal Buress has joined the cast of ‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’

The comedian will star alongside Tom Holland, Donald Glover and Zendaya

Hannibal Buress has been confirmed to have joined the cast of Spider-Man: Homecoming.

The comedian, who played dentist Lincoln in US comedy series Broad City, will appear in the Sony and Marvel production alongside the likes of Tom Holland and Donald Glover. What exactly Buress’ role will be has yet to be disclosed.

As Variety reports, Buress has a number of film appearances coming up. He will feature in The Masterpiece, a movie about the making of the “worst film of all time” The Room, with Dave and James Franco.

He will also appear in Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson’s remake of Baywatch next summer, while his voice can be heard in The Secret Life Of Pets.

Spider-Man: Homecoming by Jon Watts, while Amy Pascal and Kevin Feige will produce. The movie is due to be released in cinemas on July 7, 2017.
