All the Harry Potter movies are returning to the cinema

In anticipation of the release of 'Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald'

All eight Harry Potter movies are returning to cinemas to celebrate the release of ‘Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald’.

‘Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald’ will hit screens on November 16 and Cinemark Theaters has come up with a special treat for Potter-enthusiasts.

The American movie theatre chain will be hosting a Harry Potter film festival later this month, where they’ll screen all eight movies – as well as ‘Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them’ – across the country.

Wizarding World XD Week will kick off on August 31 and run until September 6 at all 141 Cinemark XD locations. A ticket for each film is priced at a very reasonable $5.

Or if you like, you can buy a $25 ticket which would allow you entry to all nine movies, where you’ll also get a collectible keychain, a specially designed cup and a commemorative festival badge.

Meanwhile, Ezra Miller has revealed that there will be even more links between Harry Potter and the upcoming Fantastic Beasts movie.

“When we made the first one – I thought I’d reached a life pinnacle,” he said. “I was like – that’s it. I’ve peaked.

“And then this movie came along, and I feel like the number of connections between this and Harry Potter – it multiplies.”

Jude Law, who plays Albus Dumbledore in the new film, added: “I had the slightly unique opportunity of knowing what happens to Albus as we’ve joined him in the present day in the Harry Potter stories.”

“But still there are secrets and aspects to his personality that are hinted at in the Harry Potter stories, and that are hinted at in this story.”

He continued: “What JK Rowling always does with all of the characters is… they’re multi-faceted. They’ve all got dark sides and bright sides, and she never judges.”
