Life, found a way...
Footage has emerged that reportedly shows Aubrey Plaza hugging London’s inflatable statue of Jeff Goldblum, much to the annoyance of a security guard. Check it out below.
The huge artwork emerged in Potters Fields in July. It depicted Goldblum’s appearance in Jurassic Park as chaos theory expert Dr Ian Malcolm, laying sideways with an open shirt.
The bizarre statue delighted many a passing visitor, including Parks And Recreation star Aubrey Plaza it seems. The Twitter fan account ‘Aubrey Plaza Doing Things’ has shared the below footage of the actress hopping over the red velvet rope to be closer to the cult star – before a security guard attempts to remove her from the forbidden area.
“It was lovely, I liked that whole statue. I don’t know what it looked like in the flesh, or in the concrete, I didn’t see it. I saw pictures of it”, he admitted.
The statue was commissioned by NowTV to mark 25 years since the release of Jurassic Park.
“I think they took it down, but isn’t it making a tour, of some kind? Like the treasures of the tomb of King Tutankhamun?” Goldblum added.
It also recently emerged that Goldblum was almost cut from the film entirely…
Meanwhile, it was recently announced that Goldblum will play a jazz show in London later this year to mark his debut album.
He is set to appear at Cadogan Hall in West London on November 17 as part of the EFG London Jazz Festival, along with his band The Mildred Snitzer Orchestra, who are named after a family friend.
