Hulk Hogan contacts FBI over leaked sex tape

Former wrestler attempts to track down the person responsible for the leak

Hulk Hogan has contacted the FBI to help track down the person responsible for leaking his sex tape.

The former wrestler-cum-actor has brought in the big guns after local police told him they couldn’t help him find the source of the leak, as it was out of their jurisdiction.

According to TMZ, the wrestler’s lawyers were given two reasons why local authorities couldn’t intervene, including one which stated that because the footage was shot in 2006, the four-year statute of limitations had expired on the offence of unlawfully recording Hulk without his permission.

Last week, Hulk Hogan threatened to sue Gawker if the website doesn’t take down footage from his leaked sex tape.

Hogan’s lawyer David R Houston said: “This tape was made secretly without Hulk’s knowledge or permission. We are going to do everything in our power to figure out who did it. Anyone displaying the tape will be held accountable to the fullest extent of the law.”

Hulk Hogan is most recognised for being a hugely successful, charismatic wrestler for WWE and WCW. The Hulkster made his movie debut in Rocky III and starred in many early ’90s movies including Thunder In Paradise and Mr Nanny.
