James Franco stars in colouring book titled ‘Colour Me Good’

Mel Elliott's unofficial publication is based on Franco's Instagram selfies

An unofficial James Franco colouring book titled ‘Colour Me Good’ has been published.

Describing her publication as a “cool colouring book for good colour-inners as well as beginners” creator Mel Elliott based the line drawings featured in the book on Franco’s Instagram selfies.

‘Colour Me Good’ features the Pineapple Express actor in various guises including snuggled up in bed, in drag and as his Spring Breakers gangster character Alien.

Elliott has also made colouring books featuring One Direction’s Harry Styles and Sherlock star Benedict Cumberbatch. She has called Franco “the disheveled face of the #bedselfie movement”.

Franco will appear next on screen in Palo Alto. Based on his book, the film is the debut feature from Godfather director Francis Ford Coppola’s granddaughter Gia.

The film’s synopsis has revealed: “Shy, sensitive April (Emma Roberts) is the class virgin, torn between an illicit flirtation with her soccer coach Mr. B (James Franco), and an unrequited crush on sweet stoner Teddy (Jack Kilmer). As one high school party bleeds into the next, April and Teddy struggle to admit their mutual affection whilst Teddy’s best friend recklessly starts spiralling into chaos.”

Also starring Val Kilmer, Palo Alto is relased in cinemas this Friday (October 17). Watch the trailer below.
