The actor and musician is taking legal action against the woman involved
Jamie Foxx has denied allegations of sexual misconduct.
The actor and musician has been accused of slapping a woman with his penis in 2002. The woman involved has now gone to the police about the alleged assault.
The unnamed woman claims the incident occurred at a party at Foxx’s Las Vegas residence. TMZ reports that she told authorities last week (June 8) that he tried to get her to perform oral sex on him and, when he refused, he slapped her face with his penis.
Afterward, one of Foxx’s friends is said to have told her to leave the house. The woman says she went to a hospital upon her return to Los Angeles the next day for treatment for a severe panic attack.
In a statement to TMZ, Foxx’s attorney Allison Hart said: “Jamie emphatically denies that this incident ever occurred, and he will be filing a report with the Las Vegas Police Department against the woman for filing a false police report against him. The first time [he] became aware of this woman’s absurd claims about an incident that supposedly happened 16 years ago was when TMZ contacted his representatives [on June 12] about the story.”
She continued: “The alleged incident was not reported to law enforcement in 2002, or at any other time in the last 16 years until last Friday because the incident never happened.”
The website stated the woman making the allegations was inspired by the #MeToo movement and wanted her claims on record in case other accusers came forward.
