“Uh oh, did we lose him?”
Jamie Foxx walked out of a live interview yesterday (February 16) when the presenter asked him about Katie Holmes.
It’s thought that Foxx and Holmes have been dating since 2013, but they only went public in September last year. Holmes divorced ex-husband Tom Cruise in June 2012, with Radar reporting that she signed a clause in the divorce settlement which prevented her from being seen publicly dating another man for five years.
Foxx was playing in the ‘NBA All-Star Celebrity Game’ on Friday night when an interviewer referenced photos of him and Katie playing basketball on Valentine’s Day, during a live SportsCenter broadcast.
“I know you’ve prepared and I saw pictures,” host Michael Smith says. “Did you and Katie Holmes play basketball for Valentine’s Day? Like some real ‘Love and Basketball’?”
The actor can be seen smiling as he takes his headphones and mic off and walks away, as an assistant unclips the equipment and gives the camera some serious side-eye.
“Uh oh, did we lose him?” the host says, sounding surprised, as Foxx can be seen warming up on the court. “Oh, he ready to go, he ready to hoop.”
Also playing in the game was Justin Bieber, who was interviewed alongside Foxx by ESPN at the Verizon Up arena in Los Angeles.
Foxx starred in Edgar Wright‘s ‘Baby Driver‘, which won the ‘Best Film‘ award at the V05 NME Award 2018 this week. The film beat off competition from films like ‘Blade Runner 2049’, ‘Star Wars: The Last Jedi’ and ‘It’. Check out the rest of the nominees here.
