In a new interview with Time Out, Boyega described the experience of working as part of the Star Wars universe as “emotional”.
He was then asked if everyone was crying on the last day on set, to which he replied: “For real. We all had a big cry. It’s also the feeling of joy and being thankful for you guys, for all the people who’ve been coming out to see the films, in a time when it’s harder and harder to get people out to the cinema.”
It was recently revealed that an exclusive clip from The Rise Of Skywalker will premiere within Fortnite at a drive-in cinema inside the game on Saturday (December 14).
The cast of the show recently shared their feelings on the ending of the film, while Daisy Ridley has said it wouldn’t be as controversial as the notorious Game of Thrones finale.
“I couldn’t tell you what I’ve done for the past month, like six weeks… except watch Game of Thrones,” she said. “I think this ending will be less controversial.”
