John Boyega, star of The Force Awakens, has tweeted EA asking for a Star Wars: Battlefront story mode for the game.
The actor, who played Finn Jakku in the recent addition to the Star Wars franchise, took to Twitter to explain his disappointment at the game’s lack of a solo mode.
Boyega tweeted the EA Star Wars account: “Will fans get a full on offline story mode? It’s more of an enjoyable way to learn controls.”

The game developers replied asking whether the Star Wars star had tried the missions in the game, to which Boyega replied: “Yeah thought it was great! But definitely leaves you wanting to engage within a narrative. Can I visit your base in the UK.”
The company replied affirmatively, saying they were “sure we can arrange something”.
Though it is unlikely that a solo mode will be added to Battlefront, which was released late last year, rumours suggest that the game’s sequels may include one.
In other Star Wars news, Daisy Ridley, who plays lead female Rey in The Force Awakens, has hinted that she has been recording music with the legendary Barbra Streisand.
Ridley posted a photo on Instagram of the duo in the recording studio, captioned “I’m gonna end this spate of pictures detailing my insane weekend with this… Ummmmmmmmmmmm…”
