Branagh said in a press release: “Christie’s Murder is mysterious, compelling and unsettling. I’m honoured to have this fantastic group of actors bring these dark materials to life for a new audience.”

Christie’s novel, first published in 1934, has already been adapted for film, TV and radio on several occasions over the years, most notably as an acclaimed 1974 movie starring Albert Finney, Ingrid Bergman, Sean Connery and Lauren Bacall.
