Eagerly-anticipated dinosaur sequel is set to open in cinemas on June 12, 2015
A new viral website has been launched as a teaser for next year’s Jurassic World.
The fake – but convincingly-designed – website claims to belong to Masrani Global, the multinational corporation responsible for building Jurassic World, “the world’s greatest theme park”. Check it out here.
Jurassic World is set to open in cinemas on June 12, 2015. It will arrive in cinemas nearly 14 years after the last instalment in the series, 2001’s Jurassic Park III.
Parks And Recreation/Guardians Of The Galaxy star Chris Pratt heads up the film’s cast, flanked by actors including Bryce Dallas Howard, Ty Simpkins and Judy Greer. Indian actor Irrfan Khan will play the owner of Masrani Global and the Jurassic World theme park, Simon Masrani.
Colin Trevorrow is directing from a script he has co-written, with Steven Spielberg – who directed the first two films in the franchise – on board as an executive producer. Earlier this year Trevorrow teased the possibility of sequels to Jurassic World, saying: “We wanted to create something that would be a little bit less arbitrary and episodic, and something that could potentially arc into a series that would feel like a complete story.”
