Kristen Stewart finally admits she is dating ‘Twilight’ co-star Robert Pattinson

The world's worst kept secret is finally not a secret anymore

Kristen Stewart has finally admitted that she is in relationship with her Twilight co-star Robert Pattinson.

The two have been romantically linked since the first of the Twilight films was released in 2008 and their relationship has been acknowledged as a open secret for a number of years. However, neither Stewart nor Pattinson has ever publically admitted that they are an item.

The actress finally let slip that she is dating Pattinson during an interview with GQ [via The Press Association]. She told the magazine’s journalist that she would like to explore England during her time over here filming new fantasy flick Snow White And The Huntsman because “my boyfriend is English.”

Stewart who appears with Pattinson again in the new Twilight film Breaking Dawn: Pt 1, which you can see the trailer for by scrolling down to the bottom of the page and clicking, then appeared uncomfortable about her remarks when she told the magazine’s writer: “I never would have said that if I knew you were interviewing me.”

However, when it was pointed out that her relationship with her co-star is not exactly a secret, she replied: “Yeah, I know it is.”

Later asked why she was so fiercely private about her relationship with Pattinson, she replied:

It’s just one of those things. I’m selfish. I’m like, ‘That’s mine!’ And I like to keep whatever is mine remaining that way. It’s a funny little game to play and it’s a slippery slope. I always say to myself I’m never going to give anything away because there’s never any point or benefit for me.

Breaking Dawn: Part 1 is due for release in the UK on November 18. The second part will follow a year later on November 16, 2012.
