Film will be released in British and Irish cinemas on October 26
The latest vlog from the set of forthcoming James Bond movie Spectre features stars Léa Seydoux and Monica Bellucci giving viewers a glimpse of the roles they play.
The duo will join double Oscar winner Christoph Waltz, former Sherlock star Andrew Scott and former wrestler Dave Bautista as newcomers to the franchise, appearing alongside Bond himself, Daniel Craig, as well as the returning Naomie Harris, Ben Whishaw, Rory Kinnear and Ralph Fiennes.
Regarding her character Madeleine Swann, Seydoux said, “She’s a doctor, she’s intelligent and very sensitive.”
Monica Bellucci plays Lucia Sciarra who, according to the actress, is “an Italian widow with secrets”. Click below to watch the vlog.
Directed Sam Mendes added: “In Spectre, the two women who Bond hooks up with, both have great mystery, they both have depths and for that you need fantastic actresses.”
Spectre, the 24th Bond film, will be released in British and Irish cinemas on the evening of Monday, October 26 at the same time as its world premiere takes place in central London. It will then open in cinemas internationally on various later dates, with its US release scheduled for November 6.
