Marvel fans have a sneaking suspicion that Hugh Jackman could appear as Wolverine in Avengers: Endgame and it’s all thanks to a curious Google appearance.
Despite Jackman retiring from the role in 2017’s epic Logan, an unexpected Google listing provides hope that he could be returning to the role once more.
If you search for ‘famous Hugh Jackman movies’, you’ll be met with the expected listings – think The Greatest Showman, Les Miserables and all of his ferocious turns as the adamantium clawed hero.
But if you care to scroll slightly further on, you’ll notice that there’s a listing for Avengers: Endgame, sparking speculation that Logan could be about to make his MCU debut.
Posting on Twitter, one fan wrote: “Wolverine, is that you?”
Another said: “If wolverine actually makes a cameo in endgame i’m gonna collapse i can feel it.”

At present, the whole thing seems somewhat unlikely as Marvel are yet to negotiate a deal with Fox to bring their characters – including Deadpool and Wolverine – into the MCU.
However, we can’t dismiss the possibility entirely as MCU boss Kevin Feige recently admitted that a deal was close to being finalised.
“We’ve been told it’s looking very, very good and could happen in the first six months of next year,” he explained in a recent podcast.
“The notion of the characters coming back is great.”
Avengers: Endgame is set for release in April next year.
