A brand new trailer for Iron Man 3 has been released online. Scroll down and click ‘play’ to watch it.
Like the previous trailer, it suggests Iron Man 3 could be a rather darker film than its predecessors, though there is still plenty of action and some wry one-liners. The new trailer also features fresh glimpses of the film’s baddie The Mandarin, played by Oscar winner Ben Kingsley.
Iron Man 3 will be Robert Downey Jr‘s fourth outing as Tony Stark, a billionaire inventor who creates a powered suit of armour and turns himself into a superhero. The actor previously played Stark in 2008’s Iron Man, 2010’s Iron Man 2 and last year’s The Avengers.
Last October (2012), Marvel released an official plot synopsis for the new movie and it teases: “Iron Man 3 pits brash-but-brilliant industrialist Tony Stark/Iron Man against an enemy whose reach knows no bounds. When Stark finds his personal world destroyed at his enemy’s hands, he embarks on a harrowing quest to find those responsible. This journey, at every turn, will test his mettle.”
The first Iron Man 3 trailer was also released in October – click here to watch it. The film, which also stars Gwyneth Paltrow, Don Cheadle and Guy Pearce, opens in UK cinemas on April 26 and arrives in the US on May 3.
