Nicholas Hoult, Ewan McGregor star in 'X-Men' director Bryan Singer's film
A new trailer for Jack The Giant Slayer has been released – you can watch the promo at the bottom of this article.
The film, helmed by X-Men director Bryan Singer, is an action-packed, fantasy adventure based on the Jack And The Giant Beanstalk tale and stars Skins‘ Nicholas Hoult in the titular role.
The movie sees Jack, along with an army of knights led by Ewan McGregor‘s character, journey up a beanstalk to rescue a Princess – played by Eleanor Tomlinson – who has been held captive by giants in a faraway land.
From the trailer – spoiler alert – it appears that Lord Roderick, played by Stanley Tucci, may be the one behind the kidnap of the princess in order to start a war between humans and giants.
The fantasy flick, which was re-named after previously being titled Jack The Giant Killer, also stars Ian McShane, Warwick Davis, Eddie Marsan, Ewen Bremner, Billy Nighy and is narrated by Ian McKellen. It hits UK cinemas on March 22.
