The second trailer for Star Wars: The Force Awakens will be shown at all cinema screenings of Avengers: Age Of Ultron.
According to Collider, the trailer will premiere next month at the Star Wars Celebration event in Anahaim, California, which takes place from April 16 to April 19. It will then be shown before screenings of Avengers: Age Of Ultron, which opens internationally from April 22 and in the UK on April 23.
Potential spoilers for the next Star Wars: The Force Awakens trailer apparently leaked online earlier this month. The trailer will reportedly feature voiceovers from two separate members of the film’s cast as well as glimpses of several characters who did not appear in the first trailer. The first trailer for Star Wars: The Force Awakens premiered in December and has racked up over 100m views on YouTube. The eagerly-anticipated film is set for release on December 18 this year and takes place 30 years after the events of Return Of The Jedi. The film’s script was penned by Abrams, Toy Story 3 writer Michael Arndt and Star Wars franchise veteran Lawrence Kasdan.
Alongside the returning trio of Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill and Carrie Fisher, the film’s cast also includes Oscar Isaac, Adam Driver, Lupita Nyong’o, Domhnall Gleeson, Max von Sydow and Andy Serkis.
