An £850 doll of Idris Elba has been mocked online after fans claimed that it looked nothing like the British star.
The plastic tribute to the Luther star was created by British doll makers Emperis and sees him dressed in a sharp suit that isn’t too dissimilar from the Bond frontrunner’s own style.
But it is the model’s bald head and seemingly sinister eyes that have left fans questioning the resemblance.
Posting on Twitter, one fan likened it to Frozone – the character portrayed by Samuel L Jackson in The Incredibles.
“This looks more like Frozone from Incredibles. This doesn’t look like Idris at all.”
Others have compared it to Weeds star Romany Malco.

Although the doll fails to capture Elba’s essence, he was last week named the sexist man alive.
It comes amid continued speculation that he could become the next James Bond after Daniel Craig departs the role.
In August, director Antoine Fuqua claimed that Bond producer Barbara Broccoli had privately expressed her preference in securing Elba for the role. However, Broccoli later distanced herself from the comments.
Elba is also currently working on his next project, which aims to bring the famous Hunchback of Notre Dame story to life.
He said: “Hunchback of Notre Dame is what I am doing next. It’s very, very different. “I’m going to say a reinvention of the story, so I am excited about that.” As well as starring in the lead role, Elba will produce and direct the as yet untitled Netflix film.
