Quentin Tarantino picks his Top 10 films of 2013 so far

'Gravity', 'Blue Jasmine', 'Kick-Ass 2' and 'The Lone Ranger' all get Tarantino's thumbs up

Quentin Tarantino has released a list of his Top 10 films of 2013 so far.

The list, which the director shared with fan site The Quentin Tarantino Archives, is not ordered by merit. Tarantino simply lists the films in alphabetical order.

His eclectic selections include action sequel Kick-Ass 2, Woody Allen’s acclaimed new film Blue Jasmine starring an Oscar-tipped Cate Blanchett, forthcoming sci-fi thriller Gravity (pictured right) and Seth Rogen’s apocalyptic comedy This Is The End. Perhaps most surprisingly, Disney’s flop blockbuster The Lone Ranger also makes Tarantino’s list.

Tarantino has not confirmed whether he will release another Top 10 at the end of the year, though the fan site’s editor writes: “I assume there’s a possibility of an update to this list once the year is over, maybe even ranked, as this list is in alphabetic order.”
