Quentin Tarantino’s new western named ‘The Hateful Eight’?

The director's new script has apparently got itself a name

Quentin Tarantino‘s new film project is apparently called The Hateful Eight.

According to Deadline, the follow-up to 2012’s Django Unchained has a working title of The Hateful Eight, and Tarantino is chasing Christoph Waltz and Bruce Dern for the picture.

At the end of last year, Tarantino revealed that his next film project will be a western. Speaking on The Tonight Show, the filmmaker was tight-lipped on his plans for his next movie, but did reveal that it would not be a sequel to Django Unchained, which won an Oscar for Best Original Screenplay and also saw Christoph Waltz pick up the Best Supporting Actor gong.

The director said: “I haven’t told anyone this publicly, but I will say the genre: it’s a western. I had so much fun doing Django…, and I love westerns so much that, after I taught myself how to make one, it’s like, ‘OK! Let me make another one now that I know what I’m doing.'”
