Quentin Tarantino has revealed that despite what he’s said in the past it’s unlikely there will ever be a third Kill Bill film.
Speaking at the Toronto premiere for his new film Django Unchained the Pulp Fiction director said: “I don’t know if there’s ever going to be a Kill Bill Vol. 3. We’ll see, probably not though.”
Kill Bill Vol. 1 and Vol. 2 follows the story of The Bride, played by Uma Thurman, who takes revenge on the assassination team she used to be a part of, and their boss Bill. Tarantino has speculated before about a third instalment even suggesting that it would focus on the daughter of one of the murdered assassins taking revenge upon The Bride but since then there’s been no more development.
He also went on to say that he wouldn’t consider directing a James Bond film saying: “Casino Royale was the one I wanted to direct, they [the producers] missed their opportunity.”
Quentin Tarantino’s latest film Django Unchained stars Jamie Foxx, Don Johnson and Leonardo DiCaprio and will open in UK cinemas on 18 January 2013. Watch the trailer below.
