Director hints that a cast member will showcase their singing skills
Speculation is rife in Twilight circles as to who will be singing on the forthcoming soundtrack to Breaking Dawn.
In an interview with MTV, director Bill Condon revealed that a cast member will indeed show their vocal abilities for the tie-in OST.
When pushed as to who that cast member might be, he simply said, “It’s gonna be a surprise.”
While the frontrunner among fans is R-Patz himself, those old enough to watch The Runaways, Kirsten Stewart‘s biopic of the punk group of the same name, will know that the Bella actress can pelt out a number herself.
In the interview, Condon also explained that he sees the Twilight films coming full circle, in much the way Harry Potter did:
I always thought of Breaking Dawn: Part One to be a real companion piece to Catherine Hardwicke‘s movie. I think everything that’s set-up there, gets resolved here.
Breaking Dawn: Part One will be Bill Condon‘s first appearance in the Twilight Saga after making his name with the Oscar-winning Gods And Monsters, he also wrote the adapted screenplay for Chicago.
Breaking Dawn: Part One will be released in the UK on November 18 with Part Two following a year later in 2012.
