Russell Crowe says he’s open to ‘Man Of Steel’ prequel

Actor tells Twitter follower: 'I'd give the tights another go'

Russell Crowe has hinted that he would consider starring in a prequel to Man Of Steel.

In the new Superman movie starring Henry Cavill, which was released last month (June), Crowe plays the hero’s biological father Jor-El, who hails from planet Krypton.

Responding to talk of a possible spin-off set on Jor-El’s home planet, Crowe advised his Twitter followers:

Crowe then tweeted at one of his followers: “Just getting sick of reading the same question mate, however, if it came up, i’d give the tights another go.”

Since its release on June 14, Man Of Steel has raked in a massive $586 million (£393 million) at cinemas worldwide. A sequel was apparently given the go-ahead shortly before the film was released, with both director Zack Snyder and screenwriter David S Goyer set to return.
