Ryan Murphy’s ‘Scream Queens’ will air on E4 in the UK this autumn

Slasher series starring Jamie Lee Curtis and Emma Roberts premiered on Fox in the US last night

E4 has snapped up the UK rights to Scream Queens, the new slasher series from the creators of Glee and American Horror Story.

Scream Queens premiered on Fox in the US last night to mostly favourable reviews and E4 has now announced that it will air the 15-part series this autumn.

Created and executive produced by Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk and Ian Brennan, Scream Queens is a pitch-black comedy series following a series of murders at a sorority house whose residents include Emma Roberts, Lea Michele and Ariana Grande.


Jamie Lee Curtis plays the university’s dean, while the show’s cast also includes Nick Jonas, Abigail Breslin, Patrick Schwarzenegger and former Buffy, The Vampire Slayer actress Charisma Carpenter.
