New footage of Captain America: Civil War has been unveiled, with Tom Holland‘s Spider-man and Sebastian Stan‘s The Winter Soldier featuring heavily.
Holland’s Spider-man was revealed in early March for the first time, and with the UK release date now just around the corner (the film arrives in cinemas on April 29 in the UK, a week ahead of the American release), new footage has been revealed of the Spider-man newcomer in action.
Peter Parker’s alter-ego takes on The Winter Soldier in the footage aired on American TV yesterday (April 26), and while it’s just thirty seconds long, it’s a nice final teaser for the Marvel outing before cinema time.

The official blurb describes the film as follows:
“Marvel’s Captain America: Civil War finds Steve Rogers leading the newly formed team of Avengers in their continued efforts to safeguard humanity. But after another incident involving the Avengers results in collateral damage, political pressure mounts to install a system of accountability, headed by a governing body to oversee and direct the team.”
“The new status quo fractures the Avengers, resulting in two camps—one led by Steve Rogers and his desire for the Avengers to remain free to defend humanity without government interference, and the other following Tony Stark’s surprising decision to support government oversight and accountability.”
It has been confirmed that the movie will be Marvel’s longest yet, running to 146 minutes. As well as Holland, the stars include Chris Evans as Captain America, Robert Downey Jr.‘s Iron Man, Paul Rudd‘s Ant-Man, Scarlett Johansson‘s Black Widow, Jeremy Renner‘s Hawkeye, Elizabeth Olsen‘s Scarlet Witch, Paul Bettany‘s The Vision and Don Cheadle‘s War Machine.
