Daisy Ridley recently revealed that Rey will be trained by Leia in the ways of the Jedi during the film, while John Boyega (Finn) said the movie will be “all out war” – and Grant has now hinted at another potential shock.
During an interview with Yahoo, Grant was asked what he thought the most surprising thing about the film was. He responded: “The big character plot twist that I had no idea would be coming.
“It made total emotional sense and story sense and I thought that was really smart. And I think that’s an incredible thing to take something that began with the first movie in 1977 and nine movies later reach a conclusion/resolution.”
In a new interview, John Boyega has recounted the emotional final day of filming for the film, saying “we all had a big cry”.
The cast of The Rise Of Skywalker recently shared their feelings on the ending of the film, while Ridley has confirmed that it won’t be as controversial as the maligned Game of Thrones finale.
