The Human Centipede 3 has been confirmed for next year, with both of the series’ stars returning.
The final part of Tom Six‘s controversial horror trilogy will see the return of Dieter Laser and Laurence R Harvey, according to Entertainment Weekly.
Laser played crazed German scientist Dr Heiter who stitches a line of people together to create a single digestive canal. In the sequel, Harvey portrayed psychotic loner Martin, who enacted a copycat version of the events of the original film.
Confirming the casting, producer Ilona Six said that the third movie, dubbed Final Sequence, will be “100% politically incorrect”.
The Human Centipede 2 courted controversy last year when the BBFC initially refused to grant it a certification in the UK. It was eventually passed for release after a series of cuts. However, on its opening weekend it took just £942 at the UK box office.
Principal photography on The Human Centipede 3 will take place in May and June, with a 2013 release planned.
