Timothée Chalamet has revealed his brilliant Matthew McConaughey impression in a new clip where he recites a voicemail the latter left him over four years ago – watch the video below.
Chalamet’s stock has risen significantly in the past year following a number of break-out film appearances, with the actor set to find out tomorrow night (March 4) if he has won Best Actor at the Oscars 2018 for his starring role in Call Me By Your Name.
Ahead of the ceremony, Chalamet paid tribute to a former Best Actor winner by recalling a voicemail McConaughey left him over four years ago. In a recent interview with GQ, Chalamet revealed that he’d committed the voicemail to memory – enabling him to deliver a perfect recital of its content today.

In other Oscars 2018 news, Call Me By Your Name nominee Sufjan Stevens has revealed the identity of his backing band for tomorrow night’s ceremony – with the group set to include St. Vincent.
Stevens will perform his track ‘Mystery of Love’ at the awards show after the song was nominated for Best Original Song by the Academy.
