Tom Cruise has made his debut on Instagram posting two pics from his forthcoming Mission Impossible 6 movie.
One depicts a clapperboard revealing that the film – out this summer – will be titled Mission: Impossible – Fallout.
The other shows Cruise clinging to the exterior of a helicopter.
“We’ve upped the ante for the sixth #MissionImpossible,” reads the actor’s accompanying message. “I can’t wait for you guys to see more.” See the pics below.
Cruise’s bio on the photo-sharing service also describes him as an actor and producer who has been “running in movies since 1981”.
Earlier this month, Cruise was spotted filming a stunt in London.
The actor’s stunt for the film saw him running across the top of Blackfriars railway bridge, as a helicopter filmed him from above.
Traffic was halted on Blackfriars Bridge and boats diverted away from that area of the Thames while filming took place.
The latest instalment in the action spy franchise is set to be released on July 27, 2018. It will star Vanessa Kirby, Rebecca Ferguson, Henry Cavill and more, alongside Cruise.

Meanwhile, Cruise suffered an injury while filming a stunt for the movie last summer. A video obtained by TMZ showed him jumping from building to building, but missing his landing point and hitting a wall instead.
In the footage, he could be seen getting back on his feet, but appeared to be limping heavily. After taking a few steps, he bent double for a few seconds, before limping back to the edge of the building.
It was later confirmed that Cruise had broken his ankle. The injury halted production on the movie, with the recent stunt shoot marking the actor’s first day back on set since the accident.
