The dystopian movie is an adaptation of J.G. Ballard's novel
A new trailer for the forthcoming High Rise movie has been shared online.
Actor Tom Hiddleston stars in the preview, playing the character of Dr. Robert Laing. The film is an adaptation of J.G. Ballard’s dystopian novel of the same name, and is set in 1975.
Dr. Laing is a young physician who moves into a luxury high-rise building that has been described as “the ultimate in utopian living” by marketers. After a powercut and social unrest within the complex, Laing sits on his balcony eating his neighbour’s dog.
