Trailer for ‘Back To The Future’ documentary ‘Back In Time’ released – watch

Feature-length doc features interviews with Michael J Fox, Robert Zemeckis and Steven Spielberg

A trailer has been released for Back In Time, the forthcoming documentary about Back In The Future.

The feature-length documentary promises to look back at the making of the classic sci-fi trilogy as well as examining its cult following today. It features interviews with the trilogy’s stars Michael J Fox, Christopher Lloyd and Lea Thompson, its director Robert Zemeckis, producer Steven Spielberg and screenwriter Bob Gale.

Huey Lewis, whose band wrote two songs for the original 1985 film’s soundtrack, ‘The Power Of Love’ and ‘Back In Time’, which gives the documentary its title, is also interviewed.

The documentary will be released on VOD, DVD and Blu-ray, as well as in select US cinemas, on the future day that Michael J Fox’s Marty McFly and Christopher Lloyd’s Doc Brown visit in Back To the Future 2: October 21, 2015.

The original Back To The Future film celebrated its 30th anniversary on July 3 and the film’s stars reunited for a special anniversary panel at London Film and Comic-Con later that month.

Meanwhile, Robert Zemeckis has recently revealed that Back To The Future cannot be remade until he and the film’s screenwriter Bob Gale are both dead. He described the concept of a reboot as “outrageous” and “insanity”.
