Watch Chance the Rapper in trailer for new horror-comedy film ‘Slice’

"The wolf is loose"

The trailer for a new film starring Chance the Rapper has been released today (August 21).

Slice, directed by the Chicago rapper’s sometime collaborator Austin Vesely, is centred around a pizza joint built on a gateway to hell.

There’s a brief glimpse of Chance in the clip. He plays delivery boy and werewolf Dax Lycander in the film.

Other recognisable faces include Joe Keery (Stranger Things), Hannibal Buress (Broad City), and Zazie Beetz (Atlanta, Deadpool 2).

Chance has teased the film with gruesome posters of the Little Caesars mascot and Dominos logo.

The rapper shared four new songs. He also collaborated with Justin Bieber and Migos‘ Quavo on DJ Khaled’s ‘No Brainer’.

In other news, it was announced in May that Chance is voicing a character in Trolls 2.

The forthcoming sequel to the 2016 animated film, which was produced by DreamWorks and based on the original Troll dolls, is pencilled in for a April 2020 release.

Chance joins Anna Kendrick and Justin Timberlake, who reprise their roles as Queen Poppy and Branch respectively, as well as 50 Shades of Grey actor Jamie Dornan, Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri actor Sam Rockwel, and Hamilton‘s Anthony Ramos.
