The second teaser trailer for Toy Story 4 has arrived, only a day after the first clip arrived to huge excitement.
After debuting divisive new character Forky on Monday, the second look at the anticipated Pixar sequel features two more characters – voiced by American duo Keegan-Michael Key and Get Out director Jordan Peele.
In the meta clip, the pair are seen voicing new characters Ducky and Bunny, who appear to live at a funfair sideshow.
As the pair break the fourth wall, they discuss their apparent love of Toy Story and even struggle to remember Buzz Lightyear’s most famous catchphrase – right up to the point where the man himself enters alongside Woody.
It comes only a day after audiences were treated to their first glimpse of Forky, who appears to be a sport with pipe-cleaner arms.
The new synopsis for the film reads: “Woody has always been confident about his place in the world and that his priority is taking care of his kid, whether that’s Andy or Bonnie. But when Bonnie adds a reluctant new toy called ‘Forky’ to her room, a road trip adventure alongside old and new friends will show Woody how big the world can be for a toy.”
“It was the first time that we were going to be recording the end of the movie, and Toy Story [4] is going to have an impactful ending,” he said.
“The way you record Toy Story…you’re in a room with the team that has created it. When I went in for my last day of recording, I wanted to have my back to them, because usually you’re facing him so he can look right up and you can talk about it.”
