It's all a little bit misplaced...
Tom Hardy’s deleted cameo from Star Wars: The Last Jedi has been revealed for the first time, and it’s the strangest of appearances.
Before the film was released last year, it was revealed that Hardy had shot a cameo appearance as a Stormtrooper, alongside Princes William and Harry.
But while the scenes unfortunately ended up on the cutting room floor, Hardy’s appearance can now be viewed below for the first time.
The rather jarring scene takes place during the raid on the First Order base – and it sees Hardy’s Stormtrooper become a little bit too familiar with John Boyega’s Finn.
In the clip, Finn fears that his disguise has been outed after Hardy’s bizarrely accented Stormtrooper confirms that he recognises him.
Thankfully, his fears are put to rest when Hardy’s Stormtrooper instead congratulates him on his apparent promotion to officer class with a slap on the bum.
The actress, who played Vice Admiral Holdo in the latest sci-fi instalment, first revealed the adorable on Colbert back in August, telling him: “I was back in my bedroom at eight years old. Doing the scene, I went, ‘Pew-pew!’ They’ve taken the sound out, I don’t think you’ll hear that in the movie. I was so excited! I mean, it’s Star Wars!”
