Think St Trinians but with more monsters...
The first trailer for the horror-comedy Slaughterhouse Rulez starring ‘Cornetto Trilogy’ favourites Simon Pegg and Nick Frost has arrived.
The film is directed by Crispian Miller – a member of Kula Shaker – and will star Pegg and Frost alongside Michael Sheen, Asa Butterfield, Finn Cole, and Hermione Corfield.
Slaughterhouse Rulez is set at an elite boarding school where the most privileged in society will meet their match in the form of a grotesque and ancient evil.
The plot synopsis reads: “when a controversial frack site on prized school woodland causes seismic tremors, a mysterious sinkhole, and an unspeakable horror to be unleashed”.
The film will open this Halloween. Watch the trailer below.
Though Pegg and Frost star in Slaughterhouse, the pair confirmed that they are working on a new venture, which will take the form of a paranormal horror-comedy series. Truth Seekers will follow a three-person paranormal investigation team, with each instalment clocking in at half an hour. Each episode will focus on a different paranormal incident.

In an conversation Simon Pegg had with NME, the actor said of people repeatedly asking if Spaced will ever come back: “That question will never go away. The more they ask, the less likely it is.”
He added that “it couldn’t possibly ever exist again” because it was about “a group of twenty-somethings at the turn of the century.” When it was suggested they could get around that by doing a reunion series, he replied: “Why? There’s no point.”
