2005 comedy could be getting a sequel
There could be a Wedding Crashers sequel coming, with star Isla Fisher revealing the news in a recent interview.
Fisher appeared on US TV’s Today show to promote her latest film Nocturnal Animals when she told the hosts: “I bumped into [co-star] Vince Vaughn at a party and he said that apparently we’re going to be making a sequel”.
“I’m really excited to see what happened to Gloria,” Fisher added, referring to her character in the original film.
“I shouldn’t really announce it on morning television. But apparently there’s some talk of it, which is fun,” she went on.
The original Wedding Crashers film was released in 2005. As well as Vaughn and Fisher, the movie also starred Owen Wilson, Christopher Walken, Rachel McAdams, Bradley Cooper, Jane Seymour and Will Ferrell.
Meanwhile, Vince Vaughn has revealed that he’s a Oasis fan and wants the band to “bury the hatchet” and reunite.
The actor was attending the Los Angeles premiere of his new movie Hacksaw Ridge when he reportedly spoke about the Britpop band.
Vaughn told the Press Association: “I do like a bit of Oasis. I like both [Liam and Noel]”.
“I’d like to see them bury the hatchet those two,” he added. “They’ve got to let it go at some point.”
