Here are all the winners from the 2019 SAG Awards

Black Panther cleans up...

Black Panther has led the winners at the Screen Actors Guild Awards, after pulling off a surprise victory in the ceremony’s most prestigious category.

The celebrated Marvel epic won the award for outstanding performance by a cast in a motion picture, beating competition from the likes of A Star Is Born, Bohemian Rhapsody, BlackKkKlansman and Crazy Rich Asians.

It now throws an unexpected curveball into the race for the Oscars – with the ceremony usually considered to be one of the strongest indicators of which films will triumph at the Academy Awards.

Another surprise from last night’s ceremony came in Emily Blunt’s victory in the Best Supporting Actress category for her turn in A Quiet Place. Her triumph came amid widespread expectation that the award would be scooped by either Emma Stone or Rachel Weisz for their performances as two warring courtiers in The Favourite.

A more expected victory came for Rami Malek – who won best actor for Bohemian Rhapsody, which means that he is now the frontrunner to win the Best Actor Oscar for his acclaimed portrayal of Freddie Mercury.
