The first teaser clip for X Men: Days Of Future Past was released yesterday (October 24) on Vine and Instagram. Watch it below.

The full trailer will premiere at 1pm GMT this Tuesday (October 29) on YouTube. At 5.30pm the day before (October 28), the film’s director Bryan Singer will host a live Twitter chat on his personal account and the official X-Men account simultaneously. Fans are advised to use the hashtags #XMen and #AskSinger when submitting questions.

Singer shot the sequel to 2011’s X-Men: First Class from April to August this year (2013) in Montreal. His film boasts a massive ensemble cast uniting X-Men characters old and new.

Ian McKellen, Patrick Stewart, Michael Fassbender and James McAvoy all appear, joined by Jennifer Lawrence, Hugh Jackman, Halle Berry, Nicholas Hoult, Peter Dinklage, Ellen Page and Anna Paquin. The full cast convened at San Diego Comic-Con in July and Singer shared a memorable photo from the event.

Some of the film’s action takes place in 1973, Singer has revealed, and time travel will be used as a major plot device. X-Men: Days Of Future Past opens in cinemas on July 18, 2014.
