‘Glee’ actor fired for posting spoilers on Twitter

Nicole Crowther posted forthcoming plot details on her page

A member of the Glee cast has been fired after leaking spoilers on Twitter.

Nicole Crowther was a regular extra on the hit musical comedy, appearing in numerous episodes. But this week she tweeted the identities of the Prom King and Queen at the show’s William McKinley High School in an upcoming episode.

A torrent of angry messages from fans followed, before the show’s producer Brad Falchuk responded with a tweet of his own, according to MTV News.

He wrote: “Who are you to spoil something talented people have spent months to create? Hope you’re qualified to do something besides work in entertainment.”

Crowther deactivated her account, after posting a final tweet: “They are not doing reshoots because of my careless mistake so shut up haters and leave me alone. Grow up and get a life.”

Glee continues in the UK on Mondays at 9pm on E4.
