Guardians of the Galaxy actor Dave Bautista has slammed Disney for sacking director James Gunn.
Earlier this week, the actor who plays the character Drax in the franchise, said he was “not OK” with Gunn being fired and that he was “one most loving, caring, good natured people I have ever met”.

It came after a series of controversial tweets Gunn had made some years ago, recently resurfaced.
Now, Bautista has taken to Twitter again to hit out Disney, retweeting an article by The Hollywood Reporter suggesting Disney’s decision has “hurt Hollywood”.
“And then some! Never make a mistake! Don’t have a sense of humour! Don’t be politically outspoken! Etc, fucking etc!!!” he ranted.

Gunn, who wrote and directed the first two Guardians of the Galaxy movies, received criticism after a series of controversial social media posts about 9/11, rape and paedophilia resurfaced.
As a result chairman of Walt Disney Studios Alan Horn said in a statement that Gunn had been fired because the posts were “indefensible.”
He added: “The offensive attitudes and statements discovered on James’s Twitter feed are indefensible and inconsistent with our studio’s values, and we have severed our business relationship with him.”
David Dastmalchian, who plays Kurt in Ant-Man also appeared to support Gunn after posting a picture of himself on Instagram with Gunn, saying he was “one of the most amazing people I’ve ever known – both professionally and personally.”
Guardians Of The Galaxy stars Chris Pratt and Zoe Saldana later broke their silence over the sacking earlier this week.
The franchise has made over £1.2bn worldwide and the third film was planned for release in 2020.
